The photos are very misleading. We booked for one night before our flight, then checked out within 15 minutes because it was that bad. Even the cab driver wasn't surprised and said he hears that from guests all the time. The front desk staff seemed completely unfazed when we left almost immediately. The room looked nothing like the photos, was outdated, and had barely working AC. Service was poor. A terrible experience and a complete waste of time and money.

The rooftop pool was clean and had a crazy view over Belize City. The gym was really good for the city, and breakfast was tasty, even if basic: eggs, beans, cereal, toast, peanut butter, fry jacks, bananas, and so on. The rooms are a bit outdated but very clean.

I was shocked by what a dump this place was, and I wouldn't recommend anyone stay there. Maybe the current owners only recently took over, I don't know. It was the closest place near the docks with a halfway reasonable price, but I would've rather driven a little farther for something nicer in that price range.

The rooftop pool was super cool, and being close to the hospital worked for me. At $80 a night, the price wasn't bad by US standards, and I'd stay again because of the location. I'm guessing business is slow, so they have to budget where they can, and I get that. The room was clean and the bed comfortable, but using the key to keep the power on means the AC and fridge shut off when you leave. The room cools down quickly, but the fridge is useless that way. Construction work looked poor, and some electrical covers were missing. The bathroom is separated by a picture window and glass door, so they covered it with shelf paper. The halls and front desk have no AC and get very uncomfortable. Breakfast was okay, though the choices were unusual.

It was clean and had a rooftop pool, and you get what the place advertises. It's not high end, but that honesty is why I gave it 5 stars. Worth every dime, and I'd happily come back.
