The rooftop bar is a nice extra, with a great view over the city. My room was plain, but clean and comfortable. The owner lives upstairs, so help is readily available if you need it. I think the three ground-floor rental rooms share a kitchen. I could get my wheelchair into the room easily, though getting around town in the chair was harder. Practically everything you need is within walking distance. Great place, I recommend it.

Rooms are roomy and clean, and there's a shared spot for coffee and water. It's close to everything while still staying quiet. The rooftop bar is cute, the staff are great, and make sure to do a hot sauce tasting with Dylan.

During the hurricane, the power went out, so the candles and flashlights they supplied came in handy. Being on a small hill also meant less worry about flooding. The room was spacious and well located, with very comfortable beds, a nice bathtub, and a well-equipped shared kitchen. It had what I needed for a stay in San Ignacio, a lovely town with friendly people.

The rooftop bar has reopened its hot sauce tasting, and we had a great time there. It was also a lovely spot to have a drink and enjoy the view. This family-run place is within walking distance of everything, and the staff were kind and quick to help. Our room had great AC, a full kitchen, and a comfortable bed with good pillows and clean linens.

I’ve been coming to San Ignacio for 11 years and have tried quite a few places. This is my favorite overall. The staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are spacious and clean, the beds are comfortable, and the big kitchen is well equipped. You can walk to everything, but it’s far enough from the noise of Burns Ave for a good night’s sleep. The rooftop deck gives you a panoramic view of the twin-town area. One thing to watch: the roof needs a good scrub because it gets slippery in the rain. I stepped in a puddle one morning and went down hard, spilling coffee everywhere and smashing my mug. That hurt like hell. I wish I’d had it on video. I love the place, though, and I’ll be back regularly. Take care on the roof, then relax and enjoy.
