The outdoor patio was a highlight for me. Sitting there listening to the water and birds made the whole place feel peaceful. Our room was clean, comfortable, and clearly well cared for, and the staff made us feel welcome. One South Place is also an easy 10 minute walk from the water taxi and close to the waterfront, so getting around Belize City was simple. I’d happily stay again and recommend it to friends and family.

Ms. Judy, the owner, made a real effort to make sure we were comfortable and had what we needed. We felt at home, and we plan to return on our next visit to Belize City. The property was quiet, clean, and felt safe, with shops and restaurants nearby. We didn’t get to try the food on site because of our schedule, but we arrived soon after lunch and the smell was mouthwatering.

The room was spotless and the bed was super comfortable, so we slept really well. The hosts made us feel at home right away. They arranged food and a taxi for us, and breakfast was delicious. It all felt more like a family member helping out than a list of services. I’d definitely stay again. They’ve made me want to come back to Belize. Thanks to them all, we left very happy.

We stayed with my work group, and the place had such a comfortable, family kind of feel. The staff were friendly and looked out for us, making sure we were okay and happy. Dinner was delicious and hearty, and the customer service was great too. It’s near the water and in a good part of Belize City. Looking forward to coming back and enjoying the atmosphere again!
