Dream Valley Belize

Four days went by far too quickly, and we’d love to return for a longer stay. Dream Valley is set in a private, peaceful spot beside the Belize river, with a beautiful view of the sun setting over the jungle. The spacious room and lovely surroundings were even better than the online description and photos. The staff also helped arrange our visit to the Must-Do ATM caves or Xunantunich ruins before we arrived.

Dream Valley had the jungle lodge feel we were looking for, with lush greenery all around and the sounds of birds and howler monkeys in the morning. We felt peaceful there and enjoyed every minute. The cabins were spacious, with really comfortable beds, and there are larger ones for families or groups. It was very hot outside, so the AC took a little while to cool things down. Carmen was lovely to talk with, and we liked the food, especially the Belizian chicken and breakfast the next morning.

A real hidden gem. The rooms were rustic but very clean, and there was plenty to do, including basketball, mini golf, pools, and kayaking. The staff were excellent.

The rooms were nice and comfortable, and the pools were beautiful and clean. The place seems older and may be struggling to keep up with maintenance, though prices were reasonable and everyone was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the food and the beautiful birds in the morning, including a few toucans. The river looked great for canoeing, but we ran out of time.
