We found this place late one evening while hunting for a room with friends. It was really cheap for the island, and though the main stretch was a bit of a walk, the location still worked well. We checked in around 10 pm and could still pop into the shop for food and drinks. Our triple room was a decent size, and being on the top floor gave us a fantastic view across the island. The pool was nice too, and nobody minded us using it at midnight. I'm planning another island trip this summer and would gladly stay here for a few nights again. The four stars are mostly for the price, since CC can be expensive.

The attached shop was genuinely handy, with a good chance of finding whatever you need. But the rooms were dirty, even mouse droppings, and the air conditioner smelled so bad I couldn't use it. I wouldn't stay here again. I'm sure there are better options.

The staff were kind, and having a little grocery store and restaurant attached was convenient. But our room was cleaned only once during the stay, and we had to keep chasing someone for toilet paper. By the second day, it was clear the air fresheners scattered around were covering a sewage smell from the shower drain. There was no TV, though we did have a refrigerator. The beds were huge and very firm, which isn't what I like, so bed comfort gets 3/5 from me. Still, it wasn't all that bad.

The rooftop view was really great, and the pool was nice. For the price, it's the best deal on the island. We stayed eight nights and the Chinese owners were almost all very friendly and kind to us. The front desk was more mixed: one person was passive aggressive and clearly disliked us, while the other was somewhat warm and friendly. The cleaning staff were rude. Things looked clean at first glance but were actually kind of dirty, and the kitchen felt like it could make you sick because of the diseases there. There was also a somewhat sketchy crowd gathering at night for the casino.
