Housekeeping entered our room without our consent, and 200 US dollars were stolen from my girlfriend’s bag pack. I spoke to the person in charge, but she didn’t care. The rooms are alright, but I can’t recommend staying here. If you do, take your money with you when you go out.

The room service each day was good, and our triple room had plenty of space and comfortable beds. I extended my stay and got a discount because the extension didn’t go through booking.com. I’d stay here again.

For the price, Sky Inn was definitely the better choice. We stayed four nights at the Caye Hotel, two at Tropical Paradise Hotel, then two at Sky Inn. Caye Hotel was the best overall, though. We had room 311, with one large bed facing the street. The room had a big fridge and comfortable bed, and the AC was quieter than at Caye and Tropical. Give it a try! P.S. I wouldn’t go snorkeling on the island. The reef is dead, and I think it’s a scam: you’ll see nothing and pay 50 USD for 3 hours. The whole island smells of golf cart exhaust and sewer, and it’s expensive. Go to Holbox, Mexico to find a truly relaxing Central America paradise.

The room was clean, with decent beds and warm showers, just what you’d expect from a budget room. Booking directly with them gets you really reasonable rates.
