Weezie's Ocean Front Hotel and Garden Cottages

We were in a cottage behind the main property, about three blocks from the front desk. The place is right by the ocean, and it's all within walking distance, but the separate section could be confusing if you don't know the area. A third-party booking app hadn't made clear that not all the property is connected. There was construction behind our cottage, unrelated to Weezie’s, starting early and going into dinner time, which could disturb a light sleeper. We called the desk, and Danika and Selvin managed to get the work stopped so we could relax that evening. Their attention and friendly customer service were rare and really deserve recognition. Danika greeted us at check-in, explained the amenities and services, and made sure we had what we needed. She arranged a massage after our long, bumpy flight, and Shania and Sherlett were very professional and thorough, helping us unwind. Selvin was also quick to respond whenever we needed anything. Danika and Selvin made this a worthwhile visit.

Our cottage was set apart from the main property, but it was nicely arranged, and golf cart pickup and drop-off were included. The cafes served amazing, high-quality food, and we had a massage on the pier. It's a beautiful spot. There was a lot to enjoy among the services and amenities, so I'd recommend checking them out. This was the best place we stayed in Belize. Getting a booking, especially for Valentine's week, was tough, but we managed.

The peaceful docks were wonderful to hang out on, and the yoga at Weezie's was serene. We stayed in the cottages with two friends so we could each have a room, though one was a loft reached by a ladder. Everything was clean and pleasant. Danika and Selvin at the front desk were especially kind and helpful, arranging things we hadn't even thought to ask for. Renting bikes from them is a great way to see the island. Caye Caulker itself is adorable and well worth a visit.

The dock was a lovely spot to take a break between activities, and I felt safe and comfortable throughout my solo trip. My room was just right and well kept, with AC that worked really well, which mattered a lot. Weezie’s is on the quieter side of the island, but it's an easy walk to bars and restaurants, and having bikes for rent onsite made getting around simple. The staff were attentive and friendly, and kayaks and paddle boards were available at no extra charge. I mostly went out for meals and excursions, though the food I had onsite was great. Since the property is right next to the airport, pickup and drop-off were easy. On my last full day, I got an ear infection from diving. Medical services were closed, but a man at the front desk made calls and found someone to see me and get me medication before I left the next day. I can't recommend Weezie’s enough. It's a beautiful, comfortable place to enjoy Caye Caulker's go-slow culture.
