Carol's Cabanas

We loved our stay at Carol's, and I’d definitely come back. I traveled with my mom and brother, and there was plenty of space for all three of us. Being right in the middle of the village was really convenient. I care about value and location, and Carol's was great on both. A couple of things to know: the road can be noisy, though earplugs took care of that for us. One night my brother slept in the porch hammock, and someone cut the screen and climbed onto the porch to take his phone, which was lying beside him on the floor. Waking up and finding that had happened was alarming. In hindsight, nothing should have been left outside overnight, even with him sleeping right next to it. We let Carol's know, and they sent someone over to talk with us. They were hospitable and quick to respond to my questions.

The place was very dirty, with peeling paint, holes in the ceiling, wobbly stairs, and rotting porch boards near the stairs. Outside smelled like rotting garbage. There was a bathtub under the stairs with turtles in green water, and rabbits in a cage underneath. A whole family lived below the rental with a large pit bull. There was no outside lighting when you came back after dark.

1 hour: 100 mnx. 2 hours: 180 mnx. Unlimited from 12 pm to 9 pm: 250 mnx.

Comfortable, and the beach is very close. The furniture could be better.
