Placencia Villas

Back again at our usual spot in Placencia village. Everything’s nearby, there’s parking at the back, and the comfortable rooms have a little kitchenette. See you next time!

The Frog Suite was beautiful and really comfortable for my three-night stay. Although the hotel is right in the middle of everything, it feels peaceful. Management were friendly and wonderful to deal with, helped arrange my airport transfers, and answered the questions I had while there. I’d happily stay again if I return to Placencia.

Quiet and lovely garden, with air conditioning that worked well. The owner was very helpful even though the office was closed on Sunday. The rooms are older bungalow or studio style, without a new or fancy feel, but they’re comfortable. We had a nice studio and our friends had a great two-bedroom suite with a big sitting and kitchen area. A great little place in the heart of Placencia.

We felt spoiled here, and Placencia itself was lovely. The owner kindly showed us several rooms so we could find the right fit for our group. After a couple of stays without air conditioning where bugs got in, it was such a relief to have rooms that cooled in minutes and hardly any bugs, even in the courtyard at night with the porch light on. You could hear birds singing and see them overhead, and the beach was just a two-minute walk away. The coded locks meant no keys to carry when swimming. During a village power outage, the gas stove still worked, with everything we needed to make a good breakfast. Rain caused no leaks or puddles. Great for a family or a solo traveler, with plenty of tours leaving from the village and wonderful art all around.
