Corona Del Mar

Rooms are clean and a decent size, and most have ocean views. The staff were consistently available and hospitable. The hotel is well placed around the middle of the island, with town and the island’s south end at similar distances. I’d certainly recommend this property.

The room had a sewer smell and was dirty. There was no hair dryer, and I had to ask for towels and washcloths. The front desk staff were friendly enough, but that didn’t make up for the stench. Music played late into the night, and from a room facing the pool and restaurant area, we could hear it inside. I had to sleep with earplugs. The pool looks nice in photos, but badly needs resurfacing. I didn’t eat at the restaurant, so I can’t comment on it.

Amazing service, a great view, strong WiFi, complimentary water, and unlimited rum punch. I think this hotel deserves to be bumped up to four stars. It made our honeymoon even better!

The WiFi didn’t work at all during my stay. The restaurant was terrible. They offer breakfast, but seemed to have run out of eggs and bacon, basically all the options. At lunch, they’d run out of fish and lobster, again leaving basically no options.
