Sunbreeze Suites

Don't stay here. This was absolutely unbelievable. I'm a 20 year old woman and flew to Belize today to surprise my boyfriend, who was staying here with his friend. We went out to celebrate, then came back at MIDNIGHT. I was only here for today and tomorrow and planned to check in when the desk opened the next day, but Manuel, the “security” guy, stopped us. He was really just sitting down the whole night. Since only two people were on the registry, he said I couldn't stay. We offered to pay and spoke with the “night manager” or whatever, but nothing changed. They put a 20 year old girl out on the street alone at midnight. My boyfriend and his friend left with me to look for nicer hotels with kinder staff who could actually find a solution. This is outrageous service, and I'll tell everyone I know never to stay here. And somehow drug dealers can hang around on the porch all day, but I can't spend one night. Quite unfair. Absolutely horrible.

The location was probably the best part: restaurants, coffee shops, supermarkets, and dessert places are all an easy walk away, and there's a rum distillery right across the street. The room and grounds were clean, with everything stocked just right, including utensils, glasses, plates, and tissue packs. The pool is a bit small, though I wasn't there to swim laps, and there were always loungers available. Great place!

We felt safe at Sunbreeze, close to downtown and just a short walk from the boat ferry. The staff were wonderfully kind. Our oceanfront room had incredible views of the water and reef break, and it was perfect for going straight on and off the beach.

We found it really relaxing. The balcony view was great for morning coffee or an evening drink, and the location worked perfectly for us. The food was excellent, and the staff were so warm and friendly. Highly recommend.
