Marazul Belize

The long pier and dock were a highlight, whether fishing or taking a quiet walk over the water, lit up beautifully at night. The beach is scenic and walkable, with palms for shade, and we had the pool nearly to ourselves. The property is centrally placed on the peninsula, so it was easy to head north or south and explore local spots. Our three-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment was stylish, spacious, and comfortable. Nearby grocery shopping made it simple to cook big breakfasts before heading out. Everything at Villas at Cocoplum felt well cared for, safe, and relaxing for a family getaway. Kimberley from the management team made planning much easier even before we arrived. She came by early in our stay to answer our questions and was genuinely helpful. We've visited Belize several times, but this was our first time in Placencia, and it won us over. We loved our stay and will be back.

The three-bedroom villa gave us a comfortable place to settle in, with a roomy living area, fully equipped kitchen, and private outdoor spaces looking toward either the gardens or sea. We were welcomed with warm Belizean hospitality and attentive service from the start. The Villas at Cocoplum sit in a peaceful, private setting where the Caribbean scenery is all around. It's easy to spend time on the beach, swimming, or relaxing in the ocean breeze, and nearby options include snorkeling on the coral reefs, pristine beaches, and Placencia Village's local culture. What stayed with us was the calm atmosphere and care in the details, which made it feel homey. The combination of comfort, luxury, and natural beauty suited a relaxing trip as well as a bit of adventure. I'd recommend it for a romantic getaway, a family holiday, or a solo retreat, and came away feeling refreshed and inspired.

The pier was the best place for us to hang out, with a light breeze, and the pool was awesome too. We met lots of cool people, and the villas were really nice. Kayaks and paddle boards were available, and two restaurants were just a couple minutes' walk along the beach. Being able to drink the tap water was a big plus. It was a bit far from town to rely only on a golf cart, so I'd recommend a car. This was probably one of our best vacations, a slice of pure paradise.

Herbert, the property manager, even got us started with a tasty bag of coffee, sugar, and creamer. Condo 421 was exceptionally clean and well equipped, including basics like olive oil and spices that many rentals leave out. We used the kayak and paddle boards, though we wish we'd tried the free bikes too. Inky's across the street gave us complimentary drinks and an appetizer. Special thanks to Alvaro for pumping up the low tire on our rental car, he deserves a raise or at least an air compressor! We loved Coco Plum and the quiet location, far enough from Placencia's crowds but about 15 minutes to town for restaurants and dive or snorkel outfits. We spent a week there and the villas were so peaceful.
