The Sunday barbecue at the restaurant was fantastic, and breakfast was plentiful and good. The staff were warm and really helpful throughout my late-January stay. I liked being about a 10-minute walk from Willemstad's attractions while still away from the busiest area. Street parking nearby was easy to find. There was some traffic noise now and then, especially when kids rode past on motorcycles, but it wasn't too bad. I stayed in a city view apartment and would highly recommend the hotel.

This worked well as our island base. The air conditioning was excellent, the shower was good, and parking was easy. We could walk to all the downtown activity without staying right in the noise. The hotel had a pleasantly laid-back feel.

After long days out, I loved unwinding by the pool in the peaceful, well-kept courtyard. Boutique Hotel ‘t Klooster felt cozy and clean, with a calm, welcoming atmosphere. The staff were friendly and quick to help whenever I needed anything. Breakfast was fresh, tasty, and complete each morning, too. I’d happily stay here again.

The peaceful courtyard and pool were a welcome place to rest after a day out, and the main Willemstad sights are easy to reach on foot. In Pietermaai, "Het Klooster" sits among other stylish, upscale restaurants. Its own restaurant serves delicious, fresh Mediterranean food with a refined touch. The building's monastery history gives it a distinctive, serene feel, while the warm colors reflect Willemstad and Curaçao. Traditional details and modern design sit together throughout. The staff were kind, attentive, and helpful with all sorts of things, and made me feel at home. "Het Klooster" is a lovely base for getting to know Curaçao's culture and charm.
