The food is great, which is why we keep ordering online, but something is wrong or missing every single time. They apologize and offer to fix it, though by then we're usually home and ready to eat. I've brought this up several times and it keeps happening. We gave them another chance after my last complaint, and they still couldn't get the order right. Terrible service.

There was plenty of room for me and my dogs to settle in, and the kitchen room was bigger than I expected. The staff were lovely and flexible, too. I'd definitely stay here again.

The kids were disappointed that the continental breakfast, which they enjoyed last year, is gone. The pool was a welcome way for the boys to unwind after hockey games, though the pool table in the bar is pretty beat up and could use new sticks. Our room was clean and in good shape, and it was a good, clean place to stay.

The hot tub wasn't working, and our bathroom door wouldn't close. We came for the pool, but the water was freezing. When we called, the attendant said there was no pool heater, even though it was -42C outside. Honestly, the worst experience.

The kitchen made this place a great fit for me. I try to avoid restaurants, and it had a stove, crockpot, pots, and other things to use. The front desk ladies with blonde hair were lovely and made me feel very welcome. It's quiet, the rooms are clean, and the bathroom was well done for a hotel like this. It's also within walking distance of places in downtown Altona, MB. A good choice if you want a decent place at a decent price without extras like a gym or pool.
