Hampton Inn by Hilton Montreal East Anjou

Our car was stolen on our first night in the city from the hotel’s own garage, which is advertised as secured parking. There seemed to be no security measures at all, and the customer experience was horrendous. The front desk offered no help, the manager was nowhere to be found, and the customer care hotline just gave us rhetoric. They showed no regard for us.

Nice room, and the staff were friendly.

The TV was the one thing that let us down. The Smart TV wouldn’t work with Netflix, and with most channels in French we didn’t have many options. Apart from that, my family and I had a great stay while visiting from Ontario. The staff were super friendly and helped us when we needed things. Our room had modern showers with impressive water pressure, and breakfast was more than enough to get us going for a busy trip. The hotel was easy to reach and about a five minute drive from a mall. We’ll definitely stay again next time we’re in Montreal.

Parking felt completely unsafe. During our stay, two families had cars stolen, and someone broke into mine, smashing a window, tearing apart the glove compartment, and leaving wires hanging. There was no manager on duty to deal with it, and my follow up emails the next day were ignored. No accountability or resolution, just chaos. This was extremely disappointing and unacceptable. Anyone who cares about their safety or their vehicle should avoid this hotel.
