Jodi and Mark made my family and me feel right at home. The period-appropriate furnishings and wallpaper gave the house a cozy but regal atmosphere, and breakfast was amazing. The beds were comfortable, and it was an easy walk into town. This is my new home away from home. If you're in Annapolis Royal, I highly recommend this beautiful, friendly inn!

The town is a hidden treasure, and the historic gardens are well worth a visit. We felt right at home thanks to Jodi and Mark, who made sure our needs were taken care of and welcomed us each morning with an excellent breakfast. Staying in this remarkable heritage home was an absolute pleasure, with its stunning original finishes.

The building is immaculate, combining a step back in time with all the comforts of today. We spent two nights at the Bread and Roses Inn and can't say enough good things about it. Jodi and Mark have created such a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

Of all the places we stayed in Nova Scotia, Bread and Roses was our favourite. It's full of history, jaw-dropping, and perfectly located. The owners are warm and friendly, and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Breakfast exceeded our expectations, and we hope to come back!

Jodi and Mark made us feel very welcome, and we really enjoyed our stay at this fabulous inn. We had a comfortable room, within a five-minute walk of restaurants, Fort Anne, and the historic gardens. Jodi served a fabulous breakfast, with something different on each of the three mornings.
