The staff were the real standout, and everyone we met was incredibly kind. Isabelle and Ayman at the front desk were especially helpful, and Waheed at breakfast generously shared recommendations. The hotel is well situated in downtown Montreal, with reasonably spacious rooms, a solid included breakfast, and kitchens that are fairly well equipped.

We stayed four nights in a Deluxe King Room with a kitchen. It was spotless and comfortable. The front desk staff were very helpful, and the hotel is an easy walk from attractions and restaurants, including Bell Centre. Peel Metro Station is very close, and we used it many times. I didn’t make it to breakfast, so I can’t comment on that. The elevators were fine.

The in-room coffee and maker were awful, basically like water. It’s an unusual machine, so you can’t just buy your own coffee and filters for it. They sell Starbucks pods in the lobby made for that machine, but you have to pay for them. They really should switch to Nespresso like many other hotels. We had a clean, nice king suite with a sofa bed and full kitchen, including a full-sized fridge. The elevators are slow, as people say, but our waits were never unreasonable. We’d read that breakfast could be cramped, so we brought our own supplies since the kitchen was fully stocked. All in all, it’s a great, quiet hotel with lovely staff and an excellent location. I’d stay again.

The location near some very good shopping was the only thing I liked about this hotel. We’ve stayed at hundreds of Marriotts as Titanium elite members, and we usually choose the brand, but I wouldn’t return here. We booked two rooms and somehow ended up four floors apart. One room was right next to the elevator despite our request to be away from one. We heard the dings and people waiting all night. The elevators are tiny, comfortable for maybe four or five adults, but six to nine people would cram in because they take forever. A few times we got out and took the stairs because it was so crowded, including from the 23rd floor for half our stay. The rooms were basic and nothing special, with a strong smell of Fabulouso floor cleaner. The hotel is being updated, but I think we had an older room. Everything could use an update, including the yellowed towels and sheets. Breakfast was a nightmare, too crowded for the small area. The waffle line was ten people deep, kids were touching everything, and although the food options were fine, it was hard to get to them. Usually we’d put up with this for one night, but paying for two separate rooms and dealing with all that made it hard to shrug off. Consider another hotel.

We stayed five nights in May 2024, and the location was perfect, central to everything, with nice restaurants and bars within walking distance and the metro basically downstairs. The staff were really nice and keen to help. Breakfast was decent, with good options, and wasn’t too busy when we went. The clean rooms were okay, and housekeeping did a great job, though the hotel feels a bit old school for a Marriott and could use renovation or upgrades. There was a lot of construction out front while we were there, though I don’t know if that’s still going on. Good value overall, and we’ll be back.
