The hotel restaurant was awesome. The food was very good, service was fast, and the staff were friendly and bilingual. That part gets 5 stars. At check-in the staff were friendly, and the rooms were clean and okay. We could have used more towels and face cloths, and there were no tissues (kleenex). Breakfast was free but continental, which was a bit disappointing. The peanut butter and cream cheese came out late, sadly, and the only juice for kids was pulpy orange juice.

I wouldn’t recommend this hotel or go back. I was left on hold for over 30mins while they tried to find my reservation. After all that, I asked to speak to a manager and the receptionist hung up on me. The place was dirty, with spider webs, and the employees were very rude. They say they provide cribs, but when you get there and ask for one, they say it isn’t available. The services listed on the website feel like false advertising to get you to book. You’ll be disappointed once you arrive.

Expedia customer service even tried to talk to Chris, but he wouldn't cooperate and made everything more stressful. I had booked and paid for that room through Expedia for the same night, with no check-in restriction mentioned. At the desk, Chris said I was “too early,” though he acknowledged that a room of that type was available. He tried to get me to cancel Expedia and book directly instead. It felt like an unethical way to avoid third-party bookings. He was rude, stubborn, and harassing, with no respect or basic hospitality for tired travelers. If the hotel won't work transparently with Expedia or other platforms, it should remove its listings instead of treating paying guests this way. The place seems to lack management, ethics, and hospitality. There are better options in Montreal. Shameful experience. Never again.

We had to change rooms because ours was disgusting, even though we'd already waited past check-in time. Apparently 11-3 wasn't enough time to clean. The rooms weren't ready at 3, which is the stated check-in time, and I also saw an older gentleman waiting a while and upset with the front desk. The employees were unpleasant to deal with. I don't know if it was because I don't speak French, or if that's just a Quebec thing and the province doesn't believe in customer service. First and last time in Quebec for me. I won't be back. Learn some manners and how to treat guests.
