Ramada by Wyndham Arnprior

The only good thing about this place was the waterfalls nearby. I stayed here a while back and, as someone who’s part of the Wyndham chain myself, I was embarrassed for Wyndham hotels. The rooms were run down, the night desk woman was extremely rude and impatient, and she didn’t seem to want to be there. Staff were smoking pot on site. I won’t stay here next time I’m in town, and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

We stayed August 29, 2025, and this place definitely wasn’t worth the price. It’s going on our ignore list. The washroom was the smallest I’ve ever seen in a hotel. Sitting down, you’d hit the toilet paper holder, and getting up, your hip bumped the sink counter. The floors were sticky, as if they hadn’t been properly washed in quite a while. You had to push on the door to get it to lock. I’m not sure how long ago Ramada took over from Quality Inn, but the bathroom still had Quality Inn products and there were Quality Inn labels in some places. There was no breakfast, just coffee, muffins, and the like. Definitely a one- or two-star hotel.

The second room we were moved to within an hour wasn’t much cleaner. There was black mould in the freezer, old coffee stains on the floor, and we had to wipe down the night table between the beds ourselves. It looked like the room hadn’t been swept or mopped in days. We even swept up a pile of debris just with our shoes. The floors in the first room also looked unswept, there was dirty toilet paper on the bathroom floor, and I found hair on the sheets. We asked to change rooms because it was so unclean, but the new room had the same problem. Then our old room was rented to the next unsuspecting visitor within minutes. The walls are paper thin, and we heard all their “activities” through the night. Should’ve listened to the recent review and kept driving. We definitely won’t stay here again.

We booked two nights, but didn’t get towels for the second night, and the coffee and tea weren’t replenished. There was no Coffee Mate and no breakfast. Staff were smoking weed outside our window, and the bathroom was way too small. The front desk staff weren’t friendly and never asked how things were going. The room itself was clean, and the bed was comfortable, but we won’t stay here again.
