The attached restaurant was excellent, and each guest gets a $20 breakfast voucher per night. The location was perfect, with comfortable beds and nice bathrooms. The TV wasn’t great and the couch felt uncomfortable, so I couldn’t give the room a full 5/5. They are replacing some of the furniture, though.

We had dinner and breakfast at the Freight Shed onsite, and both meals were amazing. The room at The Water’s Edge was lovely, especially the comforter. I’m already trying to find one like it online. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back!

The water view from our balcony in room 5 was gorgeous. It’s on the third floor, and the inn sits right by the water. We stayed for two nights last week. The room was spacious and clean, and Owner Anne and Jeff were so nice. Breakfast was homemade and really delicious. We especially loved the cranberry bread and banana bread, and my spouse liked Anne’s tea. We took some bread with us on our last day. We highly recommend this place.

Vicki is a superstar, and the service was excellent. A friend recommended this place to my wife and me, and it turned out to be a great choice. The rooms were excellent too. It’s just off Baddeck’s main street, right on the Bras D’Or Lake waterfront.

We loved how easy it was to get out and paddle. We stepped outside and walked just a few feet to the water. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the view was beautiful. Jeff and his wife were lovely, kind people, and breakfast was lovely too. Can’t wait to come back : )
