The Barrie Motel

I fell asleep in that room for two hours, then woke up crying and checked out right away at 3 am. I was covered in bites and hives, and my face and hands were swollen. My boyfriend caught the bed bugs and took one to the front desk. They did nothing about it. Now I see I’m not the only person they made feel like I was crazy. You can get a much better room for less, breakfast included. I’ll never stay at this hotel again.

The service was good, and it was nice and quiet. The rooms were a little worn, with cracks and chips in the walls and a large crack in the bathroom mirror. They also don’t accommodate people with emotional or mental disabilities. I have the email to prove it.

A pretty standard overnight room. It was a decent size, and the bathroom was quite spacious. The bed was okay, but the sheets weren’t warm enough. The heater was loud, and there was a slight smell. It could’ve been cleaner. I’d recommend it for one night.

A horrible night, and definitely not worth $175. The TV didn’t work, there was no water at the bathroom sink, and the wood around the bath was rotten. The door wouldn’t shut or lock. Dirty, worn down, terrible all around. Maybe it was worth $50, and even then, never again.
