Tammy was our favourite waitress this summer, and the service she gave us was excellent. We spent plenty of Thursday evenings at the Holiday Country Manor’s “Porch Sessions,” with great live music and consistently exceptional food. The owners clearly care about making a success of this little village north of Kingston. If you’re after fantastic food in a down-home setting, the Manor is a unique choice, and well worth the 20 minute drive from Kingston.

The manor’s historic character and charm really come through after the renovation. We went for Sunday brunch, which was delicious, and the service stood out too. The owners were so friendly and made us feel at home. Battersea is worth the drive for this spot.

The manor has real history, and although it’s no longer in pristine condition, it’s well maintained. We stayed overnight and had a very nice time, with delicious dinner and breakfast. The guys were friendly and took good care of us, with lots of thoughtful little touches. It’s great to see a private effort to bring an old manor back to life with such care and passion. Give them a try if you need somewhere to stay in the area.

Allstar Quality Disc Jockey Service had an awesome time here on New Year's Eve 2020. It’s beautiful and rustic, and the hospitality was great. Everyone had such a good evening, and we can’t wait to come back and DJ here again!

We’ve stayed at the Manor several times, and we’ll keep coming back whenever we get the chance. Jeff and Core are wonderful hosts, professional and friendly, and always make us feel welcome. Core is a classically trained Chef, and his meals are amazing, with his own personal flair. Sunday brunch is especially worth trying. The rooms keep that country feel, and the beds are comfy. It’s a quaint B&B near Loughborough Lake. Thanks, Jeff and Core, for your gracious hospitality. Phil and Sue.
