Lorraine and Greg made us feel very welcome, with warm smiles, useful travel advice for planning our outings, and a lovely hot breakfast each morning. We’d happily recommend the Spaniards Room to anyone heading along the western shore of Conception Bay.

Breakfast was cooked to order, with the usual bacon, eggs, toast and pancakes. The menu was limited for anyone with dietary needs. We stayed in a top-floor room in the historic house, just what we needed, and had one of our best nights of sleep during our 10 days in Newfoundland. The location was great.

We felt right at home at Greg and Lorraine’s historic, beautiful house. Breakfast was delightful, and we had a friendly chat with another couple and our hosts. A lovely place to stay.

Greg and Lorraine were friendly, the food was great, and the house itself is lovely. We stayed one night at the start of our road trip and are planning to return at the end. I’d recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a place in the area.
