The evenings were peaceful, even though the main village restaurants, cafés, and shops were within reasonable walking distance. Stonebridge Lodge also has strong upkeep and condition overall. The condos are spacious and clean, with comfortable living rooms, full kitchens, and big windows for mountain views. Some units have fireplaces and private hot tubs. Heated underground parking is useful when it snows heavily, and secure ski storage keeps equipment organized. The standout is being able to step right onto the slopes from the lodge. There are no shuttles or long walks in ski boots, and it's easy to come back for a quick break. For families, couples, or groups wanting a comfortable on-mountain stay at Big White Ski Resort, Stonebridge Lodge is a dependable option.

We stayed again in 401 building 1, and the views from every window were still amazing. The kids could see the cue at The bullet and knew to wait for it to go down. It's a short walk to the village, with ski-in, ski-out access, and we watched the fireworks from the hot tub again. Can't fault the owners. There were some new furnishings, and we had another great stay.

I can confirm I've stayed in almost every building at Big White. Check your records. I've never booked through Big White Central Reservations, and I won't again. Their buildings are old and run down, and elevators don't work, so be ready to haul your stuff up 3 flights of stairs. This particular building was at least clean, but the entry code system was a mess. We couldn't get into our room for the first couple hours, and the hot tub was broken, so we had to call a repair guy. At other Central Reservations properties, the rooms haven't been clean. They've also charged my family for damage we didn't cause. I used Central Reservations exclusively for 2 years, but after that bogus damage charge, I'm sticking with Airbnb. What an absolute disgrace.

This wasn't our first year at Big White, and we've had better stays. CMR (Central Mountain Reservation) really messed things up this year. The service was terrible. There were no bar stools, the hot tub wasn't working when we arrived, and getting essentials delivered was slow, awful, or sometimes nonexistent. We started there 8 days ago, but won't stay there again. Big White's service in general seems to be going downhill, which is a shame because the skiing is actually good.

We've stayed here in different rooms over roughly the last 5 years, and they're lovely, with similar layouts, hot tubs, washer/dryers, and two bathrooms. It's a beautiful spot and I highly recommend it. The rooms let in a lot of light, including the outside night lights, so bring an eye mask if that bothers you. You can also hear plenty of outside noise from ploughs and workers, who work at all hours. Still, being so close to the village and having ski-in, ski-out access makes it worth it.
