Hôtel Rive Gauche

We stayed at Hotel Rive Gauche twice on our trip to the Maritimes, once on the way there and again on the return, and were happy enough to come back. Our fourth-floor king room faced the river, with a comfortable bed and modern, very clean decor. The hotel is well appointed, and the location is handy, close to the highway exit. Staff were friendly too. There’s a high-end restaurant attached, though we ate elsewhere. We’d definitely stay again.

The pool was lovely, and the staff were nice. I was really happy with the stay. The room felt super comfy, with plenty of space, a big shower, and a great bed :)

The location felt very safe, and the prices were surprisingly reasonable. Our room was spacious, comfortable, clean, and luxurious, and we loved having a balcony. There were so many spiders out there, though, that it was hard to enjoy it. I know those can be difficult to manage sometimes. The air conditioning was also hard to adjust, and the room was extremely dry, which made the night really uncomfortable.

The moment we walked in, the awful smell, like old garage toilets and repellent, hit us in the face. Things went downhill from there.
