The peaceful setting and lovely yard made the stay feel relaxing. We got a great start to the day with breakfast treats served quickly, which really helped since we had a plane to catch and it was early Sunday in a town with no breakfast choices beyond Timmy's. Our room was clean and comfortable, the bed was super cozy, and the bathroom had everything we needed and then some. Thanks to our friendly, helpful hosts for a lovely stay in Nova Scotia.

Glenda made us feel very welcome, and the breakfast was excellent. Ask for a Poffertjes [Dutch pancake]! We especially enjoyed the beautiful gardens and the calm setting. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and had all the amenities. Baker's Chest B&B in Truro, NS is also close to several natural wonders and points of interest. My wife and I spent three days there on our Nova Scotia trip, and it was special. We'd definitely stay again when we're back.

Glenda and Dan were so gracious, thank you 🙏. The breakfast croissant and parfait were perfection ❤️. Our room at The Baker’s Chest Bed and Breakfast was spectacular, with a lovely garden view, and the bedroom was incredibly comfortable. It even had a claw foot tub 🥂.

The country setting was idyllic, and I liked that the property was just outside town. It took under five minutes to drive in for dinner or sightseeing, so we had both quiet and easy access. Our room was spacious, the bed was exquisite, and we slept really well. The property is beautiful and extremely well maintained. I've stayed at many B&Bs over the years as CEO of a travel company, and Baker's Chest is first rate. Maarten and Nelly were outstanding hosts who clearly wanted our stay to be enjoyable and memorable. When they learned I shared their Dutch heritage, they adjusted breakfast to include some favorite dutch pancakes, which delighted me.

Breakfast was plentiful and tasty, and we had some great conversations with our hosts. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. We had a lovely stay with Glenda and Dan, and I only wish we'd planned to stay longer.
