Carmel Beach Private Lodges

We spent a rainy afternoon in the clubhouse, playing pool and air hockey, and there’s also a gym with lots of equipment. The lodges are gorgeous and spacious, with great amenities. The pool is warm and has plenty of floats and toys to use. Definitely recommend, and I can’t wait to come back.

Both times my family and I stayed here, the resort seemed almost empty, so we had the most relaxing holidays. We found the pool area and games room amazing, and both lodges had all the dishes we needed, including gorgeous sets. The beds were perfect and clean. I couldn’t find anything wrong with the resort or lodge, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone needing a little getaway.

The air conditioning was noisy, and the cold air didn’t quite reach the bedrooms, so it felt a bit stuffy up there. That’s the only reason I’m not giving five stars. Our unit worked very well for our guys’ cycling trip and was stocked with everything we needed. The pool and hot tub were well maintained, and the grounds were perfect. The setting on Blind Bay is absolutely gorgeous. I recommend Carmel Beach.

The lakeside beach was nice, though it’s covered in rocks. The private lodges are beautiful and can sleep up to 8, but realistically maybe 6 unless you’re okay with a couch. Some appliances didn’t work properly, though I guess that can happen in a fully furnished vacation place. Definitely rent a boat and get out on the water. There are also a few wineries and hikes nearby. There’s even a sauna room when it’s not Covid.
