Lakeside Motel

The restaurant was beautiful and the food was good, but the service was the worst I’ve ever had. We went in September for a friend’s bachelorette, during the off season when the place was half empty. I work in service too, so I understand how things can go, and I’m not exaggerating. After we sat down, we got menus and water, then waited 30 minutes for anyone to serve us. We’d been at the table an hour before our first drinks arrived. There were five of us, with another bachelorette group of about ten nearby. They arrived around when we did, ate full meals, and left before we even got ours. Twice we had to walk over to where the servers seemed to be hanging out to ask for help. We would have left on another occasion, but this was a special event and we’d planned to come here. We eventually explained what was happening to the manager, and the management team took over serving us. Things improved, but it still wasn’t a good experience. We were charged the full bill. I know places handle this differently, but where I work and at many other restaurants, at least half the bill would have been comped.

Our New Year’s Eve stay at the Lakeside property was incredible. We had Whalf House, one of the larger properties, and it was spacious, stunning, beautifully designed, and stocked with everything we could need. Every detail seemed thought through, so the stay felt luxurious and easy. The setting was breathtaking, but the staff made it unforgettable. Brian took great care of us throughout, going above and beyond with professionalism and attention to detail. It was a perfect way to welcome the New Year. We couldn’t find fault with anything and can’t wait to return. Highly, highly recommend!

Bryan was incredibly accommodating, and his attention to detail and genuine care made our stay special. We booked a weekend away from our busy schedules, and it exceeded what we expected. The whole resort was spotless, with a welcoming, luxurious scent as soon as we arrived. The amenities were excellent and well kept, making it easy to relax. The peaceful, refreshing getaway felt like we’d traveled out of the country. Highly recommend for a quick reset.

We had the best mother-daughter trip in PEC thanks to the Lakeside Motel team. The rooms were chic and spotless, and being right on the water made it a lovely place to hang out or head into town. Wellington Main Street is an easy walk away, with lots of good places to eat and shop. 12/10 recommend!
