The food was incredible, and not what we expected from a B&B. We stayed two nights in the Fiddlehead suite, which has a shower with a bath, unlike the Foxglove suite that has just a bath. The room was great, the bed very comfortable, and the bathroom lovely. There’s a new hot tub outside, too. It’s a great spot to get away from everything, though the road there is gravel and dirt. The hostess was great. It’s close to the lake below, and I highly recommend it.
We spent a lazy morning in the spotless, fully equipped suite and didn’t want to leave the room before noon. Breakfast came to us with a smile, and the food was very good. The setting is peaceful, and there’s now a wonderful hot tub looking out over the valley and ocean. We’d received a gift certificate as a wedding present and stayed this past weekend. Lovely place.
Bowen Island Hideaway B&B was so quiet and peaceful, with wonderful hospitality from Heidi and David. The food was sumptuous, and the space felt welcoming and very comfortable. The surroundings are spectacular too. Every so often you find a place that feels close to paradise. This is the perfect hideaway.
The beds were great and the linens very clean, though the place could use some upkeep. We were told food was available when we booked, but they don’t serve it anymore. Kids were stomping and jumping around at 8am. It’s nice and, for the price, more fun than an ordinary motel, but I wouldn’t stay again.
The views were breathtaking, and everything was very, very clean. Breakfast was delicious, and Heidi and David are the nicest couple. We had a fantastic stay at the hideaway.
