Hilton Garden Inn Toronto/Brampton

Hilton Corporate eventually gave me points and made things right, but it shouldn’t have taken that. If the person running the hotel doesn’t care enough to follow up or take responsibility, I won’t stay there again. The bathroom pipes sounded like a jackhammer. The rest of the room was fine, but after a sleepless first night I told the front desk, and they said maintenance would check. The same thing happened the second night, so I lost sleep again. In the morning they said maintenance hadn’t found anything wrong. I asked them to send someone in to listen, and they eventually did find and fix the problem for my third night. I’m a frequent Hilton customer when traveling for work, and in the past, when something went wrong, they apologized and gave me Hilton Honors points. I asked what they’d do about the two sleepless nights. The front desk gave me hotel manager Varun Jonnalagadda’s business card and said he’d call soon. That was October 9. I’m writing this on October 19, and after calling the hotel twice, I still haven’t had a call, apology, or any attempt to resolve it. Both times I was told he wasn’t there, that a message would be passed along, and that he’d call soon. The hotel might be better if the manager showed some commitment to the guest experience, but I haven’t seen it.

The hotel was very clean and the service was excellent. We hadn’t booked an accessible room, and even though the hotel was fully booked, they found a way to accommodate us without inconveniencing other guests. They went above and beyond. The breakfast servers were pleasant and professional, and made sure we had everything we needed.

The staff were friendly, always smiling, and ready to help from check-in through checkout. Breakfast was fresh, varied, and delicious, and the common areas were well maintained. Parking was convenient too. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and very clean. The Hilton Garden Inn Toronto/Brampton is well located for highway access, with restaurants and shops close by. I’d recommend it for business or vacation and would definitely stay again.

The food was really good and worth paying for. I was working nearby, and the room was extremely clean and smelled fresh, especially the bed sheets. There’s a small pantry beside the front desk with snacks for lunches, which made things easier for work the next day. You can charge the items to your room too, which is handy. I’d stay again in a heartbeat.
