Days Inn by Wyndham Brantford

The room was fairly clean, but the stay still fell short. The website said there would be a couch, yet ours only had a chair, which felt misleading. The smart TV also wouldn’t connect to the internet. Breakfast was a letdown: cold eggs and pancakes, a few choices like toast, English muffins, and cereal, and no bacon, ham, or sausage. I’d call it a 2-3 star experience at best. The inaccurate room description and limited quality amenities made it underwhelming.

There was nowhere for us to gather in a common area, and we got no room cleaning or garbage pickup during our two-night stay. The rooms were dirty, the fridge didn’t work and had mold in it, and the beds were twin size at most, nowhere near queen size. Friends were charged extra for towels even though they hadn’t used any extra. Don’t expect a clean place or a queen bed.

After a long travel day, quick, smooth check-in was much appreciated. The staff were friendly and ready to help with whatever I needed. My room was comfortable, clean, and well maintained, with everything easy to access and a particularly cozy bed. It was quiet enough to relax and sleep well. Nearby restaurants and shops are easy to reach, and the highway is close too, so it works well for business or a stop along the way. I had a really great stay and would definitely return. Highly recommend!

The payment machine wouldn’t read my card, and they refused to enter it manually, so I had to pay cash, including the 250$ deposit. On Sunday the limited breakfast still wasn’t available by 7am, and they tried to charge for the extra towels I’d requested. The rooms were filthy, especially the bathroom. I try to keep reasonable expectations for a budget hotel, but this service was very disappointing and not acceptable.
