Naomi and David at the front desk were genuinely kind, apologized, and tried to sort out issues they hadn't caused. Weekday breakfast from 6:30 to 9:30 a.m. was passable, with waffles, proteins, whole fruit, and yogurt. The bathroom was fairly clean, with no mold and fresh white linen. There's free EV parking in the big lot if you bring your own plug. One team tried to help, but day staff were rude, rigid, and close to hostile. We were offered late checkout because of the problems, then had to argue with the day staff to get it honored. The room smelled strongly of dog, as if it had soaked into the carpet, despite being told pets stay on the first floor. Either that wasn't true or the room wasn't cleaned properly. The air was so stuffy we had to leave the door and tiny window open to cross-ventilate, and our noses ran whenever we were inside. Beds marked “full” felt tiny, so two people had an uncomfortable night. The comforter was very thin and poor quality. Getting around with luggage was an obstacle course: long corridors, badly placed stairs, no elevator, and no luggage carts. Half the room seemed unusable. We had to rearrange furniture to use the microwave and lights. Housekeeping never came even though we were out all day. The TV wasn't smart, so bring your own setup for Netflix. The blackout curtain was nice but off its rail and let light in. The hair dryer was basically decorative, and the fridge door hinge was falling apart, which seemed unsafe. Breakfast eggs tasted like powdered disappointment, and there was no decaf tea. Looks decent, functions like a headache. The place seems acceptable at first, but poor maintenance, awkward layout, and questionable cleanliness add up. Whether reviews ring true may depend on the room and the crew. We had room 218, which may help explain why ratings are all over the place. It feels like a motel rather than a hotel, so adjust your expectations to what you pay.

The bed was super comfy and the room was all right. There was a mini fridge in the room and an ice machine in the corridor. Breakfast felt like motel breakfast, with hot eggs, sausages, and potatoes, plus cereal, juice, tea, coffee, and a waffle maker. There was no soap in the bathroom, so bring your own. The corridors and stairs have a typical motel feel, and there’s no elevator to the second floor. My only real gripe was having to haul my heavy luggage upstairs.

The complimentary breakfast was good, and the rooms were clean and in good shape. The rest of the hotel seemed clean too. I'd come back if I needed a place to stay.

The rooms were clean and better than we expected. Front desk service was great, though I never actually tried the other services. The location is ordinary, with no view, but it's close to the city. I gave the room four stars because the bathroom door wouldn't close at all and had to stay fully open.
