The only bright spot was the check-in girl, who was amazing: friendly, efficient, and professional. The rest of the stay was stressful from start to finish. I picked this hotel because it had a pool, then arrived to find it completely drained. That should have been disclosed before booking. We came in late and exhausted after long 10-hour workdays, hoping for a hot shower and clean bed. The toilet was clearly dirty, and after flushing it I stepped into the shower and found hair stuck to the wall. The water took forever to heat up and was freezing at first. At 11:00 p.m. the toilet started overflowing while I was in the shower, and I panicked. The shampoo and conditioner dispensers were nearly impossible to squeeze enough product from. Once in bed, I spotted stains on the bedside table and couldn't relax, wondering what else hadn't been cleaned. I had one of my worst hotel sleeps. At exactly 11:00 a.m. the next morning, the room phone rang. I thought something was wrong, and while rushing to answer with our bags packed, I dropped my phone. As I picked it up, I noticed a half-drunk cardboard coffee cup near the window from a previous guest. The phone rang again, then someone knocked. The front desk staff member just asked whether we were checking out. I was already leaving but felt rushed and pressured. Floors around the elevator were being mopped right at checkout, making it harder to get out with luggage. Between the dirty bathroom, hair, overflowing toilet, leftover garbage, stains, and drained pool, it was an awful stay. I wouldn't recommend staying here. The wonderful check-in staff member was the exception.

The room was clean and the bed really comfy, so I'd stay again for a quick relaxing night close to home. I booked a solo night to unwind and wanted an affordable, safe place with a sauna. I was nervous after hearing about a kids hockey tournament and a group of 50 guys for a fight night, but I barely heard any noise, even on the main floor. I'd booked a queen room with a jacuzzi. There's no hot tub in the pool area, but filling the jacuzzi with hot water basically made one, which was lovely. The sauna is small, about 2 people, and you have to ask the desk to turn it on. That's no big deal, just something to know. Finding an affordable hotel with a sauna around Hamilton/Burlington is rare. There was a problem with my card at check-in, probably my bank since booking a hotel is an unusual purchase for me. The guy at the desk was so sweet about it and went the extra mile to sort out my account. The "gym" was a minor disappointment. I hoped for an elliptical, but there was a treadmill and a sort of rowing bike, plus a weight machine in another room a few steps away. The bike was fine, and the sauna was the main thing for me. Free breakfast was impressive for the price if you eat everything. I'm plant based, so most of it wasn't for me. They had pancakes, eggs, meat, toast, oatmeal, potatoes, cereal, juice, coffee, and tea. I had coffee with non dairy creamer in the room, plus toast and potatoes.

I was in Burlington for the Santa Run and stayed at the Burlington Quality Hotel on December 6, 2025. It was a positive experience, and I would highly recommend it. The hotel is dog friendly, reasonably priced, well kept, and clean, with many friendly staff. Its spot at Walkers Line and the QEW makes it easy to get around Burlington and nearby areas like Toronto and Hamilton. Jake's Grill and Oyster House is just a 2 minute walk away for a great meal. The hotel was as advertised.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable. It was in a great location with a peaceful atmosphere. Had a wonderful stay at Quality Hotel and would definitely return. Thank you for the great service!

The location was the only good part. My room was near reception on the main floor and so noisy I woke up 4 times overnight. It smelled musty, and that scent stayed stuck in my nose for days. Breakfast was unhealthy, the coffee tasted like dust, and I’m positive random people from outside came in to grab breakfast. I also found a long hair in the bed. A very 2 star experience.
