Cheltenham Suites

I came to watch the aurora, and this was a perfect spot. We saw an incredible show from the deck and from chairs by the river. There aren't many lights around, and it's dark out back. It's my new favourite place to stay, a hidden gem on a beautiful property. The decor is just right, the linens feel luxurious, check-in was easy, and the staff are so friendly. The store has what you might need, and the local chocolates are tasty and a great price. Wifi was great, though cell service is weak here. The bed was so comfortable, but I didn't get much time to sleep during my stay.

There isn't much room to park a full-size truck, but what can you do. The general store downstairs has plenty of snacks and souvenirs. The bed was the softest and most comfortable I've had in a long time, and the place was so clean and perfect for the money. The only things I'd mention are how loud the automatic door locks are and that the hallway motion sensor isn't sensitive enough at night.

A wonderful find. The period furniture was lovely, check-in was easy, and everything I needed was provided. The bed was really comfortable. I'd definitely stay again if we're in the area.

The town and building were quiet, and I had a nice, comfortable room. Breakfast from the store downstairs was excellent. The bed was very comfy, too. I did notice thick dust on the ceiling fan and water marks on the wall, though, which made me wonder how thoroughly the place gets cleaned. Maybe I'll come back once this silly Covid business is over and we can tour around.
