The parkade construction has made even a quiet holiday morning impossible, and working from home with all that noise is awful. These units barely feel livable. The location is handy and the amenities sound good, but many haven’t been available. The pool stayed open for only about two weeks before repeated maintenance or seasonal closures, even while the weather was warm. Water is shut off often, and the construction noise keeps going. A pipe burst in the hallway recently and flooded our floor. They drained the water, then told tenants to clean their own units. I missed work, and my apartment couldn’t be lived in for several days while drying machines ran and walls were left exposed. I asked management about a rent deduction and never heard back. The lack of communication and consideration has been really disappointing.

Grid 5 Apartments feels safe and cared for, and staff are usually helpful and responsive when something comes up. It’s also convenient for transit, shops, and restaurants. The building is modern, clean, and well kept. The units are comfortable and stylish, and the amenities are a nice bonus. There were a few small annoyances, like occasional noise and minor maintenance delays, but nothing serious. I had a good stay and would recommend it to anyone looking for a convenient place in Calgary.

Storage could be more affordable, and an elevator deodorizer would help. Still, it’s a really good place to live, with a clean building, well-kept amenities, and management that responds quickly. The downtown Calgary location is excellent, and the community feels safe and welcoming.

Grid5 is in a super convenient spot with everything nearby, and the community feels peaceful and welcoming. The apartment was spotless and really comfortable. John and Raize on the management team were especially helpful, always quick to get back to me. Their professionalism and support made a real difference. I absolutely loved living here and highly recommend Grid5.
