Best Western Airport Inn

The breakfast was poor, not fresh, and the whole breakfast area looked dingy. The renovations have also made the hotel an eyesore. The TV couldn't connect to the network, so Netflix, YouTube, and other services weren't available. There wasn't even an option for connecting in the TV settings. When I told the front desk, he didn't try to fix it and just said I could watch the channels in the guide. It's 2026, my guy. I didn't appreciate the flippant reply or being talked down to. That only confirmed I won't come back to this dump.

I loved the breakfasts, and the staff were really kind. The rooms also have smart TVs now, which was a nice surprise if you already have streaming subscriptions. The hotel doesn't provide paid subscriptions, though, and I hate cable. The place is fairly nice, but definitely outdated. My room door fought me every time I tried to get in, even though the key worked. The entrance is awkward, and the pool is small, with a maximum depth of five feet. That was a bit disappointing, but I still had fun swimming. The hot tub was good too.

I won't stay here again and would strongly recommend against it. The hotel and rooms are dated, and cleanliness wasn't great. As a platinum member, I was told I'd been given the best available room, but the window looked directly into the pool area, which was a shocking disappointment. The blinds were poor and let in all the pool lights. When those lights were on, their fluorescent bulbs buzzed and flickered. I could hear almost everyone in the hallway and every time the person above me moved. The hotel is also right next to a firehall. I can only imagine what that sounds like in rooms facing outside.

After an eight-hour drive, the pool and hot tub were a welcome way to unwind. For a three-star hotel, it has nice amenities, and the included breakfast surprised me with how clean and appetizing everything looked. There were plenty of choices: fresh fruit, egg bites, sausage or bacon, waffles or pancakes, yogurt, cereal, muffins, bread, and even a gluten-free option, plus coffee, juice, tea, and milk. The rooms are dated, and the mattresses could use replacing, but the room was fine for an overnight stay. It was a good stay for a good price.
