Sandman Hotel Calgary Airport

Rajwant Kaur, the customer service rep, guided me through all my questions and made things smooth from start to finish while I was flying in from Toronto. The rooms were clean, and there’s Chop and Moxies for food. Amrik upgraded my suite and gave me access to the corporate lounge, a great extra. There’s also a nice pool and jacuzzi, plus gym access. Rates are excellent, and RSVP Rewards lets you collect points to save on hotel trips. Easily the best hotel in Calgary. I’ve recommended it to friends and family.

I was only here for a few hours for a business meeting, and didn’t stay overnight or use the facilities. Lunch didn’t have anything I could eat because of dietary restrictions. The waitress checked with the chef and quickly confirmed the food wasn’t suitable, then asked if they could make something for me. I said only if it was no trouble. A few minutes later the chef had made a lovely ham sandwich on gluten-free bread, even heated it up. I was already grateful, but then the waitress brought me warm gluten-free cookies from the chef too. Great service from people who went out of their way to make sure I was safely catered for.

The airport shuttle was such a welcome change. The woman driving got me there quickly and was friendly and helpful. At other hotels nearby, shuttles have nearly made me miss flights, and I’ve had to call taxis instead. Moxies room service was fast and friendly too, and the rooms were nice. I booked my next stay for my next rotation as soon as the shuttle dropped me at the airport.

Dhruv and Binita made check-in smooth and handled our jokes with grace. Their customer service was incredible, this is an official SIX STAR review for them! The rooms are quiet, the pillows are good, and the beds are pretty decent too. It’s a really nice hotel with great amenities, including a fitness room with actual workout equipment. I’d absolutely recommend staying here!
