The low rates make it a good deal, but it felt more like a homestay, with the owner living there and getting involved quite a bit. Cleanliness was only average and needs a lot of work. The owner usually goes to bed around 10 p.m. After taking my payment, he messaged to suggest I sleep at the airport instead of arriving late, which struck me as odd. I booked a hostel for the night so I’d have somewhere to stay regardless of when I arrived. If late check-ins are a problem, the owner should stop taking those bookings so guests don’t end up losing both their money and sleep.

Such a lovely, home-style hostel. The hosts are kind, interesting, and experienced. Glad we found this little gem for future trips and for friends.

It’s a hostel, and the rate is $30.

The owners were so kind, friendly, and accommodating, and the place felt clean and inviting. We loved our stay. The beds were big and comfortable. I’d recommend it in a heartbeat.
