Sunbeam Bungalows

The owner was busy making the place special for guests, but still took time to say hello and explain the amenities. Everything was in great shape, from the cabins and beach to the docks and their sitting area. Such a delightful place. Highly recommend.

The owners are kind and attentive. We got to chat with Darren, and whenever you need something or anything needs attention, they’re there quickly. Jimmy, the maintenance guy, is helpful and super cool too. It’s a great place to unwind, whether you’re fishing, relaxing by the beach, sitting on the deck by the fire pit, or enjoying your own bungalow. It works for a getaway with friends without kids, and it’s also a good spot for families. The cleaners come every day to tidy up, wipe down the outdoor furniture, clean the fire pit, and collect garbage and recycling. I’ve never had that kind of service at another rental. I can’t say enough good things about this place, and we can’t wait to come back.

The owners are what we love most about Sunbeam Bungalows. Darren and Sarah are so hospitable and think of all the little details, always going out of their way to make the stay special. My husband, Louis, and I have stayed here many times, and it’s always been an incredible experience. The cottages are clean, and you can walk into the cute little town of Callander. There are beautiful sunsets and Wednesday night live music with a fire pit and s’mores. The kids love the amenities too, including the private beach, rental boats, bait for sale, lake inflatables, kayaks, paddle boats, and more.

The boys and I have been here two years in a row for fishing trips, and we’re looking forward to many more. The service goes above and beyond, and the place is amazingly clean. I’ve heard families have just as great a time here in summer, and I’m definitely hoping to come back with my family.
