The food had everyone talking all weekend, and it was amazing at every meal. We rented the whole inn in February so both families, 20 of us, could stay together for our smaller wedding. It felt like a rustic, cozy mountain retreat, with a bit of luxury, and gave us a lovely place to spend time with family and friends. The team was professional, quick to respond, and made the weekend run smoothly. We had a perfect day at A Bear & Bison Inn.

The wedding weekend itself was easy for us because the staff coordinated everything, leaving us free to enjoy our time together. Planning from out of province by email took trust and coordination, but their vendor suggestions and organized approach kept the lead-up low stress. We chose A Bear and Bison Inn for its beautiful setting and phenomenal food, and it was one of our best decisions. Thanks to Brooke, Barb, Lonny, and the rest of the team for looking after us and our family. We hope to come back for an anniversary.

The ground-floor room we chose was newly renovated, cozy, and nicely decorated, and the owner welcomed us warmly this January. He was very friendly and shared a fascinating story about his life. Breakfast had lots of variety and was simple but satisfying. The WiFi was quick, over 300 mbps, which was handy while I worked Monday. We didn't use the outdoor hot tub or the jetted tub in our room, but both were clean and nice touches. Only wish my fiancee and I had booked two nights.

We'd stayed at the inn several times before and loved it, so choosing it for our wedding was an easy call. The atmosphere was wonderful, and Brooke, Barb & Lonny answered all our many questions quickly and professionally. Every meal was outstanding, and our guests mentioned the food too. Banff is about a 30-minute drive away, and the inn is well placed for skiing and sightseeing, with plenty of shopping there too. We came as a couple over Christmas and loved the cozy winter setting, with a breathtaking mountain view right outside. Breakfast arrived deliciously at our room, and we enjoyed both the secluded outdoor guest hot tub and the jetted tub in our room. There are thoughtful touches in the decor and throughout the guest experience. We're both vegetarian, and the inn handled our preferences, including one of us not liking mushrooms, without any trouble. The vegetarian meals were delicious. A lovely, cute spot for a couple's getaway, and much more than just somewhere to sleep. Book your stay at The Bear and Bison.
