Ambleside Lodge Bed & Breakfast

Annie and Brian were so welcoming, and their tips on what to see and do were great. We liked Canmore too, especially how quickly we could reach downtown or a trail. The cozy, comfortable space and delicious breakfast made this the best stay of our Canadian Rockies trip by far. We're glad we picked it and hope to return soon.

We're already looking forward to coming back to Ambleside Lodge, our third stay here. The owners are so kind, the breakfasts are delicious, and the common areas are beautiful. Rooms are cozy and comfortable, and you can park and walk downtown in just a few minutes. Thanks Anne, Brian, Hilary and Kyle for being so kind and making great food 🙂

We spent two days here for our anniversary. The host was very friendly, and the room was clean and spacious. Breakfast and coffee were tasty. My favorite spot was the living room with its fireplace. Looking out at the mountains and watching the flames made everything feel peaceful. I'd definitely come back when traveling to Banff again!

Annie and Brian were lovely hosts and shared helpful local tips. Annie also made a great coffee, and the breakfasts were delicious. My son and I stayed three nights in October in a twin room with a private bathroom next door. Ambleside was quiet and comfortable, very clean, and full of charming little decor details. The river is nearby, and it was an easy 10-minute walk to the centre. I'd happily recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
