Location is the main good thing. Tim's and grocery stores are within walking distance, and it's just off the highway. Someone I know has been staying here for a while while looking for a place to move, and the experience has been poor. Housekeepers sometimes walk right in without warning, so I recommend using the safety door locks you can buy on Amazon to make them knock before entering. There are also many drug-fueled people screaming and yelling through the night, and police have to come by regularly. The room key cards often stop working and need replacing.

Clean room, really cheap, and a good location.

We were kicked out after 3 days for no reason, even though we cleaned up the garbage and recycling and tried to make the place better. At first, the manager's workers seemed nice. My partner had nonstop panic attacks there, with people constantly knocking, yelling, screaming, and threatening. The staff's morals are crap, and there are lots of creeps spying on you. The curtains don't even close properly. I also saw blood spatters near the garbage, and people crashed into someone's room at 2am on July 15th. That was so stupid and looks bad for the business. They don't care. The residents are nice, but management is crap. I don't recommend going if you value your privacy, time, and comfort. If you don't, then go. Not great, horrible morals. NEVER GO THERE.

The rooms are fine, but the beds and pillows may be dirty and aren't properly cleaned. All the beds should be cleaned, but they aren't. There were bedbugs in room 135, and the managers are really weird. They need to wash and clean everything properly so there are no bugs and people can have a better experience.

The toilet and tub were clean as a whistle, and the maid did her job well. The young man working at night was nice too, and the maid was a sweetie. But the room was absolutely filthy. I needed a stopover and had my 2 kitties with me. They charged 100.00, and at 900pm, approaching the door of 135 gave me little hint of what was ahead. It had 2 queen beds and was large, but the floor hadn't been swept. The microwave was covered in grease outside, with a huge black hair stuck to it. This wasn't something a normal cleaning could fix, it looked like years of caked-on filth. The bathroom frame was held with a few blatantly placed screws, and everything was in very rough condition despite the clean toilet and tub. The bed was clean but lumpy and squeaky. The walls had filthy yellow handprints and dripping yellow stains, the wallpaper drooped, the tile was cracked, and the curtains hung with light pouring in. It was freezing. In the morning I told the older man that the price I'd been charged was unacceptable and so was the room. He flicked his hand in my face, turned away after returning my deposit for the kitties, and said, “you got the deposit back and that's it.” Well, here's how I flick back: your hotel is disgusting, and sitting on your behind living off money the City gives you is lazy and immoral. I see the people staying there, and God Bless Them. I can imagine what their rooms look like, since temporary housing goes through a lot. But if you're getting money, a motel is a service and you need to upkeep. It's such a shame when fabulous old motels are sold to people who Do Not Care and treat you as lower than themselves while sitting around doing nothing. Gosh, this world is going to hell in a hand basket asap. Thanks Trudeau ✌️
