DoubleTree by Hilton West Kelowna

The renovated hotel looks good, and my room was quite nice with a comfortable bed. I’d stay again because it’s convenient, but there are things to improve. My room wasn’t ready at check-in, there was someone else’s card in it, and the conditioner bottle in the shower was empty. I could hear everything in the next room; some simple weather stripping under the adjoining door might help. Also, the man checking me in said my room number out loud in front of other guests, which should never happen to a woman traveling alone.

We used the hotel for accommodation and banquet facilities when organizing a convention for 100 delegates, with the Emmanuel Church campus hosting the convention sessions. The food was excellent, and the banquet staff were noticeably friendly, efficient, and helpful. Hotel staff were just as friendly, professional, and helpful. Their service was exceptional from the planning stages right through the event. I can’t recommend this hotel highly enough.

This is one of the best value places I’ve stayed in over the last four years, and it’s absolutely worth a visit. The pool is awesome, and the rooms are nicely finished with a high-end feel. It punches way above its price range!

DoubleTree by Hilton West Kelowna felt brand new, fresh, and exceptionally clean from the moment we arrived. Even the parking lot was spotless and well lit. Check-in was quick and easy, just ID, a credit card, and the vehicle’s plate number. The staff were friendly and efficient, and be sure to pick up one of the delicious fresh-baked cookies. Our modern king room was thoughtfully designed, with new-looking finishes, comfortable seating, a large TV, big windows, and blackout blinds. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well. Bathroom amenities were fully stocked. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was great, with fresh ingredients, good portions, and friendly service. Breakfast was included and served à la carte, which I prefer to a buffet because it felt more relaxed. The heated pool area was clean and had plenty of seating. The standout for me was communication. The hotel checked in by text during our stay and offered help with anything we needed. Fantastic stay, and this will be my go-to hotel in West Kelowna. It’s in a great spot away from downtown traffic and near wineries like Mission Hill Family Estate Winery and Quails’ Gate Winery.
