Canadian Rockies Chalets by Trilink

We stayed in this clean, cozy chalet as our base for exploring this part of the Rockies. Though it's on a busy road, the apartment itself was quiet. The neighborhood has restaurants and gas stations, and the hospital is nearby.

The customer service was extremely rude, and I was only told on the day we arrived that there would be pet or parking fees. We paid WAY more than for the hotel we stayed at the night before, and this place was HORRIBLE. The rooms hadn't been cleaned properly: there were crumbs in the couch and belongings from previous guests still on the floor. DO NOT STAY HERE!

You can't beat the patio view over all the mountains, especially while grilling. The location was amazing, there were lots of TVs, and the downstairs living area was pretty cool. Still, the experience felt underwhelming for what we paid. Some basic things were missing or lacking: cushions for some patio chairs, kitchen staples like salt and coffee, proper cleaning before arrival, and enough parking for the number of guests.

The location was great, but for the price this chalet was a huge disappointment, and I wouldn't stay here again. It was badly outdated and run down, with ceiling stains, water-damaged woodwork or missing finish, filthy walls that needed repainting, and old, dirty carpet. The appliances were old too, and even with the fridge turned to high, it still wasn't cold. The listing said two bathrooms, but there were really only one and a half. It also didn't mention that the main bedroom is a loft open to the living room below. The shower pressure was terrible and the water barely warm. The soap scum in the tub was disgusting, floor tiles were broken, and the closet doors had all been taken off and left that way. I also hadn't realized the chalet was right by the train tracks. Trains ran throughout the night, so it wasn't peaceful at all.
