The gym could use improvement, and you can hear footsteps from the room above. Those were minor issues for us given the value. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and the spacious rooms were clean, with a full kitchen, laundry, and all the amenities we needed. Stoneridge really did feel like a home away from home. I'd come back, and it's a great option for a stay in Canmore.

The only thing I'd change is the temperature of the big pool. If it were warmer, more people might spend time there instead of in the smaller hot pool. The hotel was extremely well managed, and I'd definitely recommend it. Our room was spacious and quiet, and impressively clean throughout, from the bed and sofa to the shower, bathroom, carpet, and terrace. Everything felt fresh and well maintained, with no dust or mold, and the appliances and lights looked almost new. The outdoor pool was so clear you could see right through the water.

There was construction noise, and we ran into a problem with our conference room. Apart from that, it worked pretty well for a family ski trip. The renovated room was clean and comfortable, and the full kitchen, table, and sitting area were clean and nicely set up.

We spent a week here in Dec 2025 with my wife. The hot tub was a bit too hot and left her with an intense itchy feeling afterward. Otherwise, everything was perfect, including the super comfortable bed and gas fireplace that worked great. It was also very convenient to walk down to the Black Dog Cafe.
