PRC Annex - Pet Friendly

We were a family of three with two pets in suite 402, a two-bedroom penthouse. The location is stunning, and lots of amenities are within walking distance. But the cleaning was disappointing: I found curly hairs in the tub when we arrived, plus old juice containers under the king bed from previous guests. I work as a cleaner, and for what this stay costs, I was definitely unimpressed.

We loved the big windows and high ceilings in our two-bedroom suite, which had one king and one queen bed for our group of five. The facilities were clean and there were plenty of amenities. The outdoor hot spring under the stars was amazing too. Finding the check-in building took a little effort, but after that we were very satisfied. We plan to bring our family back next time.

The pool was great, and everything was clean and cleaned daily. With three kids, this was a perfect place to relax after hiking and exploring Banff. The service was exceptional, underground parking was easy to get into, and the property is very close to the entrance to banff national park. I don't understand the negative reviews. I'd highly recommend it for families with little ones and would stay again if I get the chance.

It had everything we needed for a home-away-from-home stay, and then some. The king bed was comfortable, the huge kitchen was stocked with everything except food, and in-room laundry was a nice surprise. Underground parking was easy, the front desk woman was friendly and accommodating, the restaurant was good and competitively priced, and the pool, slide, and hot tub beat expectations. There's a kiddie pool, a large 4-foot pool with a waterslide, and an indoor-outdoor hot tub. The unit also has a BBQ and two Smart TVs. A few things could be better. We were on the second floor, and although the walls and doors blocked outside noise well, footsteps from above were loud enough to wake us one night. We heard nothing the previous night. The hardwood floors look nice but don't dampen sound. The room price was reasonable for one night in May 2023, but summer rates seemed closer to boutique hotel prices. Our one-bedroom apartment had what our family needed and was spacious and practical, but the furnishings weren't especially modern or luxurious. The pool floor is rough on your feet, so I wish I'd brought swim shoes. The slide area also needs attention: riders should slow down before entering the pool, or ropes should stop people crossing in front. It's hard to tell when the person ahead has cleared the landing, and we saw a few close calls during our few hours there. Signs to the front desk would help, since the entrance is at the back of the building. I also didn't see bikes advertised for rent, though there was a rack full of bikes outside, so I assume some may be rentals. Next time, I hope to check out the games room and spa.
