Motel Baie de Gaspé

The chalet was quiet, with a deck, fire pit, and picnic table, and the staff were friendly. There's laundry on site, $1.50 for the washer and $2 for the dryer. The Wi-Fi worked, too. We booked for a couple of nights, and I wasn't sure what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised by the large fridge, stove, and fully equipped kitchen. The bathroom and bedroom were clean. I'd recommend it if you're in the area.

We stayed in one of the cottages behind the motel, and it was very clean. The garbage was picked up daily, and the location is just a few kilometres from Forillon National Park's south entrance. The cottage came with bedding, dishes, towels, a refrigerator, cooktop, microwave, and coffee machine. There's a small grocery nearby.

We called really late and they had one room left. They let us book even though we'd arrive after the office closed, and were very friendly. It's a large motel and campground, so finding the office in the morning was confusing, but I was very happy overall.

The office man was really nice and spoke English. The lawns were mowed and looked good, and the view of the Bay was wonderful. The entrance road needs work, my site wasn't level, and the electrical voltage was a little low. Overall, not too bad for this area.
