The rooms were spotless and cozy, and the view was lovely. We had such a great vacation at Chalet Rosemarie. Rosemarie made us feel very welcome, and the breakfast was fantastic. I’d definitely recommend staying there.

The private beach starts at a peaceful little cove, and from there the water opens out toward Georgian Bay. It’s just a few minutes from the house, though access is limited to property owners and their guests. Chalet Rosemarie sits among the trees, with downtown Parry Sound about a 20-minute drive away. Rosemarie, the owner and hostess, greets guests warmly. Upstairs there are two spacious, modern suites, each with an extra-large jacuzzi tub. One looks out over the lake, while the other faces thick woods. There’s also a regular guest room on the main floor. Everything is kept immaculate and well maintained, including the suites, windows, and bathroom fixtures. Breakfast is a generous spread on the pretty terrace each morning, and it’s all delicious. It makes for a relaxed start to the day, and I’m usually not hungry again until around 2:30 p.m. Book well ahead, since many guests reserve again before leaving. It can be especially hard to get a room during the mid-summer Festival of the Sound concerts, but it’s still worth contacting Rosemarie and hoping for some luck. Lots of people stay for a whole week and make a holiday of it. You’re sure to leave with fond memories, and you’ll want plenty of photos. Highly recommended.

It’s a peaceful spot, only about 20 minutes from Parry Sound, and you should book early if you’re coming for the Festival of the Sound. The rooms are big, comfortable, and very clean. Breakfast was great, especially the scrambled eggs, which might be the best in the world, plus superb European coffee. The old-world hospitality was a real pleasure.

Breakfast is a feast unlike anything else I’ve had at a B&B. The rooms are spacious, private, and comfortable, and the place is one of the cleanest and friendliest in the area. Rosemarie’s bed and breakfast is in Nobel, outside Parry Sound, surrounded by nature and close to the water. You can drive to the Stockley Centre for daily concerts or stroll around central Parry Sound. The scenic drive to Nobel is well worth it. I’d highly recommend a stay at Chalet Rosemarie.

The suites are roomy and comfortable, with all the amenities you’ll need. It’s in a quiet area near Parry Sound. Breakfast is available for $15 per person and comes with orange juice, coffee, fresh fruit, homemade yogurt, two eggs, hashbrowns, ham, and your choice of pancakes or croissants.
