Ogopogo Resort

I just had another epic week at Ogopogo. My family has been coming since Todd and Katherine owned it, and we've seen improvements every year. The cabins are clean and well stocked, the people are so nice, and the service feels really personal. There's a swimming pool now too, which is great. There's plenty to see around the area, but I could happily spend days on the huge dock. I've made amazing memories here. I couldn't ask for a better place to rent.

Todd got our ice fishing day organized quickly and had the hut ready for us. The service was top notch, and the place was friendly and clean, with an easy walk out to the huts. Five stars, and we'd definitely recommend it and come back for a family getaway next year.

We've been back to Ogopogo several times over the past ten years, and every stay has been relaxing and really enjoyable. Katherine and Todd are fantastic hosts. They've made this resort a real diamond in the rough, with a great location, grounds, activities, services and accommodations. Compared with other places we've stayed in this region, it stands out. Looking forward to another visit next fall!

We stayed in the three-bedroom cottage during winter. It was quiet and nicely laid out, and the lower deck was lovely when the weather warmed up on our last day. The bathroom was quite small, though it caused no problems. There was a fireplace and a built-in bathroom heater, and we could borrow cross-country skis and snowshoes. By the lake there's a nice shared firepit, and we saw people ice fishing and kids using a toboggan run. Todd was very pleasant and gave great service. It's a nice spot for a family break, and they also have smaller cottages that would suit couples.
