The setting at Storm Mountain Lodge was so peaceful, and with beautiful hikes nearby, we could spend the day exploring and then unwind by the fire. The meals were fantastic, full of flavour and beautifully prepared after a day in the mountains. Our heritage cabin made the stay feel especially meaningful. The historic buildings gave it a sense of stepping back in time, while we still had the comforts we needed. The staff were attentive, warm, and friendly from the moment we arrived. It’s a stunning place to slow down and unplug, and I’d highly recommend it for a quiet mountain getaway.

I’m so glad we stopped in for dinner. The meal was incredible, and Aisling took such attentive care of us. I’d recommend it to anyone passing through. The lodges looked perfect, and I only wish I’d been able to stay there too.

We were two tired travellers from Prince Albert Saskatchewan, and Storm Mountain was exactly the kind of peaceful stop we needed. The place is incredibly cute and cozy, with majestic surroundings. You can relax in a cabin beside a wood burning fireplace, or have a drink and meet people around the huge fire at the lodge. The meals are to die for, the service is outstanding, and the staff are delightful. It was so clean, too. We’ll be back, five stars all day long.

For our anniversary, we were hoping for a quiet mountain retreat, and the cozy, charming cabin was just right. Dinner was even better than we expected. Monica was friendly and efficient, and everyone made us comfortable as soon as we arrived. We both especially loved the delicious Short Ribs, and appreciated that the wine and liquor were all Canadian. Kudos to the staff for making our Anniversary one to remember!

Winter makes Storm Mountain feel magical, with a serene, postcard perfect setting. We’ve been before, and it’s near the top of our list for a quick reset from the grind of modern life. The atmosphere is simple and relaxing, and it’s a special place we cherish more than any big hotel, even though fancier places are out there.
